One day I want to become a writer, and artist, an editor. I have traveled so much with my parents and my brothers that they are my closest friends and sometimes I wonder if I can actually say I come from any certain country. I love food so much that I think of countries according to the dishes they serve. And also, I am sharing my life with you.

Dogs and Pianos

I tried to get Feanor singing to me playing the piano but I think we can't hear her that much... Tried to stop playing whenever she was singing along. Oh well, this is what I do when I can't go outside as well.

Sickness and Health

I can't say I didn't see this coming, especially after having run around all yesterday with wet hair. But there you have it, sick as a dog. I wouldn't be as upset about this as I am if it weren't for the fact that I am going to Marrakesh in a couple of days and I was really looking forward to this trip. Airplanes while you are sick are never fun.
I will fight back however! And try to get rid of this thing before Monday!
Green tea, lemon, honey, cough syrup here I come!

Because I'm already reminiscing

Since I have been thinking back these past few days and I don't really want to talk about this morning, which involved:
-The cutting off of all the water in the house
-While I was in the shower
-When I had just put shampoo in my hair
-And the fact that I was taking a 'warm' shower because I have a cold and ended up running around the house in a bathrobe and cold, wet hair
-Using cold bottled water to get soap out of my hair

So to feel better, thinking back to better moments where things like this didn't happen is always a good idea. And since yesterday I was talking about my best friends, I felt bad when I left out one of my best friends in the world.
This is my little brother, Floris! The best brother in the world, if I do say so myself! He's probably the one in my family that gets me the most.

Even though now we look a little more like this:

Even though I am closer to my little brother than my other brothers that doesn't mean there is less love for my two big bros. Most people would probably think I was closer to my second big brother since he and I looked so alike when we were young.
But I have to admit that all together, when we were younger at least (and not spread out around the world like we are now), we had some pretty good times.

I love remembering really great times with my family. That's probably why I'll always love America so much since I grew up there.
Plus growing up would not have been as fun as it was without my amazing parents!
My beautiful mother

Dad is the tall one, and a great champion!

Sometimes I really miss the old time, but you have to live for the present and think of the future! It's good though, to have those good moments to look back onto.

PS: Miss my old dogs too.

Because sometimes people get on my nerves

Because sometimes everyone is in the way, or very negative, or just plain mean, I just want to dedicate this post to the people I love and couldn't be happier to be friends with.
I think that what's really important, and sometimes really rare, is to have those couple of friends that you know you can count on when you have a problem or when you really need someone to talk to. I feel that I am lucky to be able to say that I have friends like this. And that I have more than one is probably a Godsend.
I am thankful for my oldest friend, Anais. Probably one of the greatest people you could ever meet, with a great sense of humor and a lot of talent!

My high school friend, Lexie, who I could not have survived a day of high school without her fabulous spirit!

My SF friends, Sarah and Inis, because let's face it, these two girls rock hard and it would have been boring in San Francisco without them there.

And I don't think I could be where I am today, or who I am today, without my best friend Jess. Because he's so great and brings out the best in everyone, managing to even make me (of all people) a better person, I can't be more happy to be his friend.

Thanks to all of you.
